Deprecated function: The each() function is deprecated. This message will be suppressed on further calls in book_prev() (line 775 of /home/digicamc/public_html/oldsite/modules/book/book.module).
  • If a camera doesn't show up in digiCamControl, make sure it's set to PTP in its USB-menu and not mass storage. Windows should report the camera brand and model number when you connect it and not just an external drive or memory card.

  1. In Windows Device Manager right click the camera device and "Update Driver".
  2. Select "No, not this time" when Windows asks to search Windows Update.
  3. Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)".
  4. Select "Don't search, I will choose the drive to install".
  5. Click "Have Disk".
  6. Click "Browser" and navigate to the folder where you saved the INF file created above.
  7. Select the INF file and it should install the MTP drivers.

  • If a camera becomes unable to perform certain operations in digiCamControl, check the camera battery charge level. Certain functions require a full or almost full battery.
